Go there and be right back

The Honorary David Camera is dedicated to Mrs. Streisand as an appreciation of her legendary achievement in the world of art, politic and philanthropy.
We are the first Jewish Film Festival in Poland that has ever existed. We are sorry to announce that this year our
Festival will be about 65 percent smaller, as the Capital City of Warsaw, the candidate for European Culture Capital2016
did not support us financially. They made selection and did favorite other Jewish Film Festival in Warsaw.
Our festival was founded in 2003 as a specialized festival, that is we present only films which concern the Jewish
subject matter. We strive to show only good films and such which were not previously shown by any other Jewish
film festival in Poland. The films we have shown include several dozen Oscar nominees, over a dozen winners
of the Academy Award and the Cannes Palme d’Or, several Emmy prizewinners, a laureate of the Karlovy Vary
festival, over a dozen films awarded by the Israeli Film Academy and one awarded by the Swedish Film Academy.
The film West Bank Story, which won Grand Prix at our festival, was three months later awarded Oscar in the same
category, and two other films presented at our festival were later nominated for Oscar.
You are most welcome!
Sincerely,
Daniel Strehlau
Festival Director
