2004 Festival Jury: Rafael Lewandowski (France), Erez Laufer (Israel), Jerzy Kamieniecki (Israel), Pawel Jurga (Poland) gave 14 DAVID CAMERASin 4 categories and in 3 subcategories, Festival GRAND PRIX for NOWHERE IN AFRICA dir. by Caroline Link, Germany.

During the Opening Ceremony took place the koncert of yiddish classic song performer by Andre Ochodlo In the JEswih State Theater In Warsaw Zob: Galeria 2004. The NARGILA Restaurant made catering service.

The films from 17 countries were presented:Poland, Germany, France, Canada, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Denmark, Australia, Ukraine, New Zeland, Indie, USA, Argentina, Belgium, Russia i Slowakia. Apart of the distinguished guest from Hollywood we hosted the multimedia artist Hanan Harchol from New York as well as directors Denmark, Germany, Russia, Israela, New Zeland. Francji. The Honorary David Camera was dedicated to Mr. Steven and was presented by Daniel Strehlau, in May 2005 in the office of Amblin Productions in Los Angeles, USA. p>

4th Conference of Jewish Film Festivals in Boston, USA. November 4 - 11, 04.

Our Festival was invited to participate in the World Conference of Jewish Film Festival Directors, which took place in Boston on 4-11 November 2004. Warsaw Jewish Film Festival was represented by the Director, who established cooperation with all the 80 directors of the 80 Jewish film festivals from all over the world. The majority of Jewish film festival take place in the USA. Such festivals are also organized in Canada, Mexico City, Argentina, Hong Kong, Australia and Europe.

Association of European Jewish Film Festivals

During the conference in Boston the Association of European Jewish Film Festivals was established. Its members are all the directors of Jewish film festivals from Europe. In the picture from the left: Barcelona JFF, Amsterdam JFF, Warsaw JFF,
